About me

I'm Adam- I look forward to welcoming you. Are you exhausted from carrying heaviness on your own? Is the strain too much, trapping you in painful relationship loops, feeling unseen, or turning to quick escapes just to catch your breath? You can talk and be with me. You are likely here because you need relief, but beneath that immediate distress lies a desire for genuine connection and a life that actually feels like your own. An accredited UKCP Psychotherapist grounded in Relational Psychoanalysis, Attachment, and Jungian approaches. I use these to ease your pain and illuminate your life, not as rigid boxes to fit you into.
How I work... • Experientially: noticing what happens between us. • Imaginatively: using dreams and symbols when words fail. • Courageously: facing family patterns keeping you stuck. • Compassionately: helping you safely drop your guard. • Holistically: listening to your body so you can rest. • Truthfully: a responsive space, not just 'nodding & smiling'.
Sitting together, we will find a pace that brings safety while doing the deeper work for lasting change. I offer a presence sturdy enough to help carry your heaviest unspoken pain, yet spacious enough to let you breathe. Together, we will step out of survival mode, find the relief you need, and move into a grounded, authentic life.

UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP)

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.

As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

Additional information

New to therapy? Not sure about the time and financial commitment of long-term therapy?

I offer a pre-booked block of 8 sessions for the price of 6. This offers the chance to explore what doors and windows to awarness are opened, with the option to extend the work if you wish. This shorter term way of working is an exploration at relational depth, just with a tighter frame.
