About me
I offer a welcoming, relaxed space aimed at supporting you to feel calm and grounded. Sessions are held either outdoors along our Cornish coastline or in a therapy room just a stone’s throw from the beach, giving you the option to move outside if it feels right for you. For those that can’t meet in person, I offer online sessions as well. Wherever we meet, you’re free to take things at your own pace and be yourself, without judgement.
My approach is person-centred. I’m here to walk alongside you as you make sense of what you're going through and offer space to explore what you’re thinking and feeling. I also draw on other approaches when helpful, so I can support you in making changes that feel right for you. I aim to help you move forward with confidence and a sense of fulfilment.
My belief in the benefits of connecting with nature has grown from supporting my own wellbeing, through my work as an outdoor instructor and in my experience facilitating outdoor wellbeing sessions for young adults. The outdoors can naturally create a space for people to decompress, tune in to what they’re feeling, and feel free to be themselves. After a bereavement, it offered me a sense of peace and a place to reflect and reconnect with myself. These experiences now shape my practice, and I hope to create a similar space for others.
I welcome adults (16+) from all walks of life, cultures, and religions. I’m a third culture kid who spent over a decade of my childhood in East Africa, with personal experience of international/cross-cultural adoption. Professionally, while I’ve worked with adults of all ages, I’ve spent nearly 15 years mainly supporting young adults (16–25) across mainstream education, social care, and outdoor education. My work has focused on helping them feel heard, cope with challenges, and improve their emotional wellbeing. I have also supported young adults at risk of offending, as well as those exploring their neurodivergence.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
