About me
Counselling can provide understanding of issues which can prevent us from reaching our potential and having healthy relationships. We are all affected by life's journey and often have deep-rooted, painful issues that can be limiting us today. I can provide a safe, warm, confidential place where we can explore issues that maybe troubling you.
Due to COVID-19 all my sessions are currently online/via zoom until it is safe to return to face-to-face appointments.
I am a qualified, experienced counsellor with over 12 years experience and practise Relational-Integrative counselling. Which means that I draw on a selection of theories to support my work and I believe that the relationship that is created between a client and their counsellor plays a significant part in the counselling process. I also offer CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy).
I aim to work with you in such a way that will support you as you address difficult, painful issues from your past or present, you might be feeling low, anxious, confused or struggling with something specific. I aim to provide a basis on which to explore new or different ways of living your life and relationships.
I also offer marriage & relationship counselling to couples.
I am a trained supervisor for counsellors and offer individual and group supervision for training and qualified therapists.

Member organisations
Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
