Hello, Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
I offer individual and couples therapy. I am able to offer Face to Face as well as Online. I am qualified to offer NICE recommended Psychological Therapy Treatment for Depression, Anxiety, Low Self Esteem, Adult Trauma (including Veterans) and Childhood Trauma. I work Private Practice. I also work for the Royal Marines Association -The Royal Marines Charity as the Clinical Mental Health Lead ( Nationally).
I have a lovely peaceful consulting room. Conveniently there is car parking on the road nearby. I offer free Initial Consultations for both Individuals and Couples
I am a UKCP Registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and Supervisor. I am also an Accredited Interpersonal Psychotherapist for Adults Teenagers and Adolescents and a Clinical Supervisor, and Couple Therapist.
I am an EMDR Europe Accredited Practitioner and Consultant in Training
I have over 23 years experience in the NHS working as Clinical Director and Specialist Psychological Therapist offering Counselling and Psychological Therapy for Patients with Common Mental Health Problems.
I work with a broad spectrum of clients. Among my areas of expertise are Adult and Childhood Trauma, (PTSD and Complex PTSD) Domestic Violence and Abuse, Low Self Esteem, Anxiety Disorders and Moderate to Severe Depression.
Therapy, I believe is a wonderful opportunity to explore and come to a new understanding about ourselves in a way that promotes and maintains change. In order for this process of change to take place it is vital clients are able and willing to engage and commit to the therapy. Therapy frequency is either weekly or fortnightly and sessions are a 50 minute hour. All therapy is strictly confidential.

The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) is a leading professional body for the education, training and regulation of psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors. Its register is accredited by the government's Professional Standards Authority.
As part of its commitment to protect the public, it works to improve access to psychotherapy, to support and disseminate research, to improve standards and to respond effectively to complaints against its members.
UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
