About me

Having had a broad ranging and interesting career in both the private and public sector, there came a time in my life when I just didn't feel happy anymore. Something needed to change, and for the better. I only knew that my life didn't feel fulfilled. It was a soul searching episode of anxiety and uncertainty. What was this feeling all about? and, worryingly, how would my self-perceived sense of selfishness in wanting to change my life, impact upon those around me? Suffice to say, there were many good reasons for me to stay as I was. Yet, if I did nothing where was I going to end up? Clearly, something needed to happen to bring new and happier dimensions into my life. Having a keen interest in people and the world of therapy, I decided to find out more, and this was when I discovered my vocation to be a therapist. No, it wasn't easy, as the academic side of the training was very challenging to my dyslexia, and poor educational background. Nevertheless, my passion and strong resolve carried me through the difficult times. I am now so pleased to be here, successfully practicing as an experienced Counsellor,
