About me
Hello, I’m Laura
I offer a safe and confidential space in which you can explore the challenges you are facing. My work integrates psychological depth with practical strategies for change, supporting both emotional understanding and meaningful action.
I provide a range of holistic therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy and evidence-based behaviour change approaches, with the aim of fostering sustainable wellbeing.
My Approach
As a pluralistic practitioner, I tailor therapy to the individual. This means we work collaboratively to identify what is most helpful for you, drawing from a range of established psychological models and therapeutic approaches.
These include:
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Attachment-informed approaches
Person-centred therapy
Mindfulness-based practices
A central aspect of my work is cultivating a commitment to action. Together, we clarify goals, identify obstacles and develop practical action plans that support lasting personal growth. I offer both short-term, focused interventions and longer-term therapeutic work, depending on your needs.
Health Psychology
I have undertaken additional training in health psychology, enabling me to support individuals living with chronic health conditions and the psychological impact these can bring. This includes working with stress, adjustment, identity shifts and the emotional effects of conditions such as autoimmune disorders and long-term illness.
Supervision and Professional Support
I provide clinical supervision to counsellors, coaches and other helping professionals (including DSLs). Supervision offers a reflective, confidential space to consider clinical practice, ethical decision-making, professional development and personal wellbeing.
I also offer supervision and wellbeing support to organisations seeking to strengthen staff resilience and manage workplace stress.
As a Chartered Coaching Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS), I support practitioners working towards BPS Coaching Psychology Chartership. This includes supervision and structured guidance to develop the required competencies.
I have completed the SDS Essentials Clinical Supervision course and am eligible for inclusion on the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors.
