About me
Hello, my name is Laura.
As a Psychologist, Counsellor, and Coach, I provide a safe therapeutic space for discussing and exploring the challenges you face. I offer a variety of holistic therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy and behaviour change modification, aimed at fostering positive well-being.
In my role as a Pluralistic Practitioner, I utilise diverse therapeutic methods and concepts tailored to the individual preferences of each client. My approaches encompass Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, attachment-based, person-centred, and mindfulness practices.
A central aspect of our collaborative work is fostering a 'commitment to action' philosophy to facilitate enduring personal growth and transformation through goal setting and action plans, while also recognizing and addressing obstacles to change. I am equipped to provide both short-term assistance and extended-term support as required.
Additionally, I have undertaken further training in Health Psychology to aid individuals coping with the psychological ramifications of chronic health conditions, including autoimmune disorders.
I also provide supervision to counsellors and coaches (or any helping/caring professional, including DSLs), offering a confidential space to contemplate professional practice and promote the supervisee's personal well-being. This service is also available to businesses seeking to enhance employee well-being and manage stress.
As a BPS Chartered Coaching Psychologist, I am prepared to assist those aspiring to attain BPS Coaching Psychology Chartership, including providing supervision and guidance to develop the necessary competencies for this qualification.
Moreover, I have completed the SDS Essentials Clinical Supervision course, qualifying me for inclusion in the BPS Register of Applied Psychology Practice Supervisors.
