About me
Some things just need untangling.
You do not need all the answers to be ready for this work, just a sense that the same patterns keep showing up. The same conflicts, the same pull toward what hurts, the same fog after a loss or betrayal. You wonder: why do I keep ending up here?
You may find yourself here not because you lack insight, but because insight alone has not brought the change you hoped for.
Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and self-aware. They have spent time reflecting, reading, maybe tried therapy and yet certain patterns persist. In relationships, in conflict, in the quieter ways they relate to themselves.
I am not the kind of therapist who stays on the surface or walks on eggshells. I dig deep, at your pace, no fixed script. We go where it matters, exploring the patterns beneath your relationships, experiences of loss or betrayal, and the bigger questions about who you are and where you're headed.
I work with individuals and couples ready to move beyond understanding and into real change. I also work with mothers and daughters who want to shift something long-standing between them, where the past keeps showing up in the present.
The people who find this work most valuable are open, reflective, and curious, willing to sit with complexity, explore what is hidden, and commit to a process that takes time. They are not looking for quick relief. They want something that lasts.
Together, we work toward a shift that is not only understood but felt and lived.
This is deep, ongoing work, and feeling safe with who guides you through it matters. I offer a free introductory call, no pressure, just an honest conversation to see if we're the right fit.
I'd be honoured to walk this journey with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
With 10 years of experience across counselling agencies, schools, adoption services, and private practice, I have developed a deep and broad understanding of the emotional and relational challenges people face. I have worked with clients from diverse backgrounds, including varied gender identities, ages, socioeconomic statuses, ethnicities, faiths, cultures, abilities, and sexual orientations. As a race-aware therapist, this awareness is integrated thoughtfully into my practice.
I hold specialised training in:
Couples and relationship work: Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, Relational Couples Therapy, Mother & Daughter Relationship Therapy
Work with children, teens, and families: Psychotherapeutic Counselling for Adults, Children and Young People, Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP), Theraplay® (Level 1), Mentalisation-Based Treatment for Families (MBT-F)
Specialised counselling: Cancer Counselling
This combination of practical experience and targeted training enables me to provide tailored, evidence-informed support to individuals, couples, and families facing emotional, relational, and developmental challenges.
