About me

Therapy for Anxiety, Low Self-Confidence & People-Pleasing

Do you find yourself constantly putting others first, only to feel drained and unappreciated? Perhaps you wear a mask to fit in because, deep down, you worry that the real you won’t be accepted or "enough."

If you have felt this way for as long as you can remember, it can leave you feeling trapped, lonely, and misunderstood. It often impacts your relationships, making it difficult to set boundaries, or feel like they are not respected when you do.

You don’t have to carry this alone, and things can change.

How I Can Support You
I specialise in helping individuals work through anxiety, low self-confidence, and relational challenges. Together, we can:

Understand the root causes: Explore why you feel, think, and react the way you do.
Break unhelpful patterns: Identify practical tools to shift the thoughts and behaviours holding you back.
Build authentic confidence: Learn to set healthy boundaries, release the pressure to people-please, and feel comfortable in yourself.

A Culturally Sensitive, Inclusive Space
I bring a blend of clinical expertise and lived understanding. You will not need to over-explain cultural, identity, or faith-related experiences, I understand many of those complex layers.

I have extensive experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, both faith and non-faith-based. I know what it feels like to feel "different" or like you don’t quite fit in, even among those closest to you. Whatever your background, therapy with me is an inclusive, non-judgmental space where you can speak openly and be truly heard.

My Background & Experience
I co-founded Nurture & Bloom Talking Therapy to create a practice where clients feel genuinely prioritised as individuals, not just numbers.

-20+ Years in Mental Health: Includes over a decade of clinical experience within the NHS.

-Academic & Clinical Excellence:
Strong academic background, including presenting my mental health research at the British Psychological Society (BPS).

-Client-Centred Approach:
Clients often share that they feel safe and at ease early on, able to open up without fear of judgment, and genuinely understood.
What to Expect in Therapy

-Our work is collaborative: you bring your unique lived experience, and I offer professional guidance and practical tools.

We will start with an initial assessment to build a personalised plan tailored specifically to your goals. I aim to provide a compassionate, safe space where we pay attention to both what you say and what might feel harder to put into words.

Take the First Step
Finding the right therapist is an important decision. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call so you can get a feel for how we might work together, with no pressure or commitment.
