About me
I am a female counselling psychologist and psychotherapist who is highly committed to supporting people through their journeys. You don't have to walk alone, I would be honoured to help in putting the pieces of the puzzle together with you as you navigate through wherever life has brought you, with the hope of you being in a better place, living a more meaningful life.
I am an integrative therapist. My techniques are tailored towards my client’s needs; modalities used include: Integrative, Existential, Humanistic, Phenomenological, and behavioural. I am here to support you and listen in a non-judgmental way and in line with what your goals are. I will not be telling you what to do at any point but will walk with you in your journey through whatever you desire to get out of therapy.
With a background in psychology and existential psychotherapy, I work with clients, taking into account, the whole human conditions. I am concerned with the understanding of my client’s position in the world and how they make sense of life, exploring this in an amenable, non dogmatic manner, wondering with an open mind. As humans are fluid and capable, we are constantly in a state of creating and becoming. I see clients not through categorisation or label but on a universal transcultural way.
I offer one to one counselling for young persons, adults, and older adults. I also work with groups, families and couples.
Each session lasts for 50 minutes apart from the initial session, which could last for an hour.
Sessions are highly confidential unless there is a reason for me to worry about your safety or that of others mentioned in the session. Although this is not common, I will be required by the BACP code of conduct to report to the appropriate authorities but not without your awareness.
I am available Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays , other times can be arranged depending on availability.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
