About me

I am a woman who is highly committed to  supporting people through their journeys. You don't have to walk alone, I will be honoured to help in putting the pieces of the puzzle together with you as you navigate through wherever life has brought you, with the hope of you being in a better place than you are now.

My techniques are tailored towards my client’s needs; modalities used include: Integrative, Existential, Phenomenological, and behavioral. I am here to support you and listen in a non-judgmental way and in line with what your goals are. I will not be telling you what to do at any point but will walk with you in your journey through whatever you desire to get out of therapy. With a background in psychology and existential psychotherapy, I work with clients, taking into account, the whole human condition, I am concerned with the understanding of my client’s position in the world and how they make sense of life, exploring this in an amenable, non dogmatic manner, wondering with an open mind. As humans are fluid and capable, we are constantly in a state of creating and becoming. I see clients not through categorization or label but on a universal transcultural way. I offer one to one counseling for adults, older adults and young persons. I also work with groups, families and couples.

Each session lasts for 50 minutes apart from the first session, which could last for an hour.

Sessions are highly confidential unless there is a reason for me to worry about your safety or that of others. Although this is very rare, I will be required by the BACP code of conduct to report to the appropriate authorities but not without your awareness.

I am available Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays , other times can be arranged depending on availability.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
