About me

I am a fully qualified, BACP-registered therapist and Reiki Holy Fire practitioner passionate about supporting individuals through life's challenges. I offer face-to-face and outdoor/walking therapy sessions in the Thanet area, creating a safe and welcoming environment tailored to your needs.

How can counselling help?

If you're feeling overwhelmed or caught in a loop of self-doubt, anxiety, or depression and need someone who will genuinely listen without any judgment, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, patience, and compassion. I genuinely believe therapy can be a transformative experience that helps you:-

  • Process and heal from past traumas, difficult memories, or unresolved pain that may hold you back.-
  • Develop self-awareness and self-compassion, embracing who you are and who you’re becoming.-
  • Understand patterns that keep you stuck and explore new possibilities for moving forward confidently.

I embrace an integrative approach, combining various therapeutic methods to best support your individual needs. This flexibility allows me to customise our sessions to fit you perfectly. If you're curious about my approach or what our therapy sessions could look like, don't hesitate to reach out.

Reaching out for help can feel like a big step, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. I am here to listen, support, and walk alongside you on your healing and personal growth journey. Please feel free to contact me-I would be honoured to assist you.

What to expect in your first session

It's a gentle beginning - a space just for you, where there's no pressure to have the right words or all the answers. I'll take some time to explain how I work and walk you through our agreement, including the boundaries of confidentiality and what support might look like for you. You're free to share whatever feels right, whether that's a story, a feeling or even just silence. We might gently start to uncover what's brought you to therapy and what you're hoping for. The first session is about creating a space where you feel safe to show up exactly as you are.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
