About me

I am an integrative transpersonal psychosynthesis counsellor and psychotherapist who offers personalised and confidential counselling sessions for individuals seeking help with emotional, personal or relationship issues.

The main approach to my work is based on integrative and transpersonal psychotherapy, which means I use a holistic approach that combines multiple strongly evidenced psychological models to facilitate deep healing, transformation and long lasting change.

Due to various previous training and personal experience, the models I use draw on the principles of psychodynamics, personal-centred approach, humanistic counselling, family therapy, group analysis, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), gestalt, mindfulness, meditation and breathwork. The way I work places great emphasis on my relationship with my clients and I aim to establish a stable, trusting and supportive therapeutic alliance with my clients.

My job is to listen to your concerns actively and effectively, no matter what your current challenges are, I will provide you a warm, safe and non-judgemental space to hold you and your difficulties so that you can freely express and explore your thoughts and feelings, without fear of being judged.

If a particular situation was troubling you, we will explore and reflect on the thoughts and feelings related to your current situation, which will enable you to better understand yourself and your challenges so you can make better choices.

I have worked extensively in counselling with adults and young people with different ethnicity, sexual orientation, religious and cultural background and have experience of working with a wide range of issues.

I offer session in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

As a registered member of BACP, I abide by its Code of Practice and Ethics. I attend ongoing supervision and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses regularly to continuously develop and enhance my abilities to support my clients in the best way they deserve.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
