Serving Clients: Nationally

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that emphasises the important role of thoughts and perception in shaping feelings and behaviours. CBT uses a problem-solving approach that teaches people skills to change their thinking and manage their reactions to stressful situations.
CBT is considered a cost-effective treatment for many disorders and psychological problems due to it's short-term and time-limited approach that focuses on quantifiable results. CBT is highly instructive and makes use of assignments, homework and trying out new ways of behaving and reacting to identify and change "distorted" or "unrealistic” ways of thinking, and therefore to influence emotion and behaviour.
