Training, qualifications & experience

Almost every clinician has at least 10 years experience in the NHS as a post-qualified mental health professional or demonstrable equivalent, or have gained similar experience in the Education sector.

After working together for years in the NHS and disheartened by the length of waiting lists, underfunding and poor management, we have wanted to bring the best experiences of the NHS to you in a way that is fast, effective and with compassion. It’s essential for us that you feel that you have been heard and that we have understood you.

We follow a simple litmus test when asking clinicians to join us: “would I want my children or family member to be treated by this clinician?”

All clinicians:

  • Hold appropriate professional registration (HCPC, GMC, BACP, UKCP, BCA etc.)
  • Professional Indemnity Insurance
  • Current DBS certification
  • Receive regular supervision and clinical support
  • Drawing on years of experience, we will jointly assess with you the issue that you are coming for help with, create a plan and intervene using the best suited, evidenced approach. If you require a specialist assessment, this can be arranged. If you already know who you need to see, no problem. If there are concerns around risk, unlike other private mental health providers, we can probably work with you but will guide you to the correct service if not.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
