Wendy Majhen Registered MBACP
Free initial consultation session:
Due to the current Corona Virus , we are now taking on clients via telephone and Skype
With over 20 years of Counselling experience, as well as Lecturing and Training in Counselling, Psychotherapy, Health and Social Care and Health Psychology, I believe everyone, young and older should be able to resource counselling for whatever issue they may have.
If you are looking for a comfortable, confidential, safe and secure place where you can share your thoughts and feelings, then look no further.
Allow me to help YOU make sense of YOUR world. Therapy is a two-way process where both listener and talker interact with each other, within a relaxed environment.
You won’t be doing all this alone; I will be with you throughout each session helping you find your own way. Your therapy will be at your pace and level of understanding, within your own time frame.
I work within the integrated approach; this means that the therapist takes the most effective elements of a number of counselling approaches and models and with your assistance, the therapist will work with you and these approaches to reach the outcome you require.
I feel all Counselling should be within an environment that is peaceful and relaxed; somewhere you can be listened too, somewhere to be understood, not judged, somewhere where confidentiality will be adhered to. I believe all counselling should demonstrate this by putting the individual first throughout by demonstrating Respect, Non-judgmental and Acceptance.

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.
All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
Accredited register membership
Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
