About me
As an integrative counsellor, I work one-to-one with individuals, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to suit your unique needs. My aim is to offer you a calm, relaxed, and supportive space. A place where you feel safe and comfortable to talk openly about your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
People come to counselling for many different reasons. You might be:
- Facing a major life challenge such as divorce, bereavement, betrayal, redundancy, illness, or trauma
- Struggling with overwhelming emotions like anxiety, anger, depression, grief, loneliness, or low self-confidence
- Realising that beliefs or behaviours rooted in childhood are no longer helpful and want to make lasting changes
- Carrying unresolved experiences from the past that are still affecting you life or relationships
- Finding yourself stuck in repetitive patterns, perhaps the same types of relationships or situations that leave you feeling hurt, confused, or unfulfilled
- Feeling like you can’t truly be yourself with others, fearing you might upset or disappoint them
- Interested in personal growth and self-development, but finding it hard to turn insight into meaningful change
You may not be able to pinpoint exactly what’s wrong — you just know that something isn’t working and you want things to be different. That’s okay. You don’t need to have all the answers before starting.
How Counselling Can Help
Counselling gives you the time and space to gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Together, we can look at the patterns, dynamics, and underlying issues that may be contributing to your current challenges. With greater understanding often comes greater freedom, and the ability to make choices that feel more aligned with who you really are and how you want to live.
