About me
FREE 5-Day Workshop. A complete five-day programme to do on your own, on your phone or computer. Free, and separate from my work as a counsellor: you don't need to choose me to take part. To receive it, email or call me: I'll reply personally and send you the link.
People come to me for many reasons. Anxiety or depression, separation and divorce, bereavement, relationship problems, LGBTQ+, a major life change or simply the feeling that something in your life is no longer working the way it used to. Sometimes you keep working, looking after others and carrying on as normal, while inside you feel tired, stuck or overwhelmed.
Reaching out to someone you don't know isn't easy, and you don't need the right words to do it. I offer a space where we can stop and understand together what is happening, what is causing you pain, and what you need at this point in your life.
I am a member of the BACP, with a PGDip in Psychosynthesis, and I have worked with an integrative approach since 2013. I see people in person and online in English and in Italian. Together we try to understand what you are living through, what has brought you here, and the different parts of you that come into play in the difficulties you face.
The first session, 30 minutes, is free: a chance to meet and see together how to proceed. Sessions after that are 50 minutes.
Training, qualifications & experience
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling, 2013. Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP). In private practice since 2013. I have also taught psychology at a dental school and led workshops for dental professionals on the patient relationship.
Psychosynthesis is an integrative approach that combines mind, body and emotions, as well as the spiritual aspects of human experience, focusing on personal growth.
My sessions incorporate a diverse range of techniques tailored to your unique journey, including:
- Guided imagery & visualisation - tapping into the subconscious for healing and transformation.
- Dream exploration - unlocking hidden messages and deeper understanding.
- Sub-personality work - recognising and integrating different aspects of yourself.
- Meditation & mindfulness - cultivating inner peace, balance and presence.
- Creative expression (drawing, writing, movement) - accessing emotions beyond words.
- Work with childhood experiences that still shape the present.
By combining these holistic and experiential techniques, Psychosynthesis helps you break free from old patterns, reconnect with your true self, and embrace a life of meaning, growth and fulfilment.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
