About me
Hello, I’m Vikki.
I am a Humanistic Psychotherapist and Registered Member MBACP, offering therapy in Ditchling, Burgess Hill and surrounding villages, as well as online.
I offer a calm, relational space where you can slow down, feel met as you are, and begin to make sense of your inner world at your own pace.
How I can help
Do you feel out of alignment with yourself, your body, or the life you are living?
You may be feeling overwhelmed, sensitive, anxious, stuck in self-criticism, or unsure of who you are anymore. Many people come to therapy feeling exhausted from holding everything together, or disconnected from themselves beneath the roles and responsibilities of daily life.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, life transitions, identity questions, and challenges around self-worth and relationship to the body.
I also support people working in creative, performing, or embodied professions who may be navigating pressure, injury, uncertainty, or changes in direction.
What it’s like to work with me
My approach is Humanistic and relational, which means I work with the whole of your experience - thoughts, emotions, body awareness, and your lived environment.
Sessions are guided by what feels most important for you. This may include talking therapy, creative exploration, or gently noticing what is happening in your body in the present moment.
Alongside my therapy practice, I offer eco-therapy through my Wild Kin work, supporting reflection and reconnection with nature where appropriate.
At the heart of my work is the belief that healing often comes through developing a kinder, more compassionate relationship with ourselves.
Experience
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I have worked for many years as a bodyworker and a professional dancer, which continues to inform my embodied understanding of emotional experience and the connection between mind and body.
I have also worked as a counsellor in a hospice, supporting people living with life-limiting illness, their carers, and those who are bereaved.
In addition, I have supported women through an Initiation Programme focused on reclaiming voice, agency, and personal power.
Alongside my private practice, I have experience in movement education, running a holistic pilates studio, and working as an educator and mentor within professional pilates teacher training programmes.
Training, qualifications & experience
Training & Qualifications
I trained as a Humanistic Counsellor and Psychotherapist with Homa London, completing 744 hours of face-to-face experiential training. Homa is a relational programme rooted in humanistic values, where lived experience is valued as much as theoretical knowledge. Training covers Gestalt, Person-Centred approaches, Transactional Analysis, Formative Psychology, as well as embodied practices including movement, Eco-therapy, and art-based work. Social justice and equity are central to the programme, equipping me to create an ethically present, inclusive space.
Experience
I have experience staffing the Women in Power programme, supporting women to reclaim their voice, and as a counsellor at St Peter and St James' Hospice, supporting people with life-limiting illness, their carers, and the bereaved.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
