About me
Are you feeling anxious, overwhelmed, misunderstood, or disconnected from yourself? You may be noticing recurring patterns in relationships, identity, or emotions that feel familiar but difficult to shift. Perhaps you’ve been masking, pushing through, or adapting yourself for others for a long time. Therapy can offer a space to slow down and explore not only what you’re experiencing, but the deeper roots, histories, and contexts that may be shaping your internal world.
My approach is psychodynamic, relational, and culturally informed. Together, we pay close attention to your emotional landscape, early experiences, and the subtle ways the past influences the present. At the same time, we’re mindful of the wider forces that shape your life - identity, power, culture, marginalisation, politics - and how these dynamics can affect your sense of safety, belonging, and self-expression. The therapeutic relationship is central to this work; it becomes a space where patterns can be understood, softened, and worked through with care.
If you’re looking for a space that honours your identity, lived experiences, and inner complexity, you’re welcome to reach out whenever you feel ready.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I offer weekly 50-minute sessions, online or in person. Psychodynamic therapy unfolds gradually, giving space for feelings, memories, and patterns to surface and be understood. Together, we explore how early experiences, relationships, and cultural or societal pressures shape the present - including the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself, navigate identity, or cope with stress and expectations.
My practice is affirming for LGBTQ+ clients and attentive to neurodiverse individuals. I adapt communication style, pacing, and sensory considerations so therapy is accessible, respectful, and responsive to how you naturally process and relate. I aim to create a consistent, safe space where you can explore patterns, gain insight, and develop more flexible ways of relating to yourself and others.
If you’re unsure where to start, an initial conversation can help us get a sense of whether we feel like a good fit and how the work might begin.
