About me
My name is Vicki and welcome to Hazeley Counselling.
Sometimes life can feel confusing, overwhelming, frantic...Counselling can be a useful tool for untangling difficult thoughts and a chance to talk about how you are feeling with someone who can offer a confidential, non-judgemental space where you can talk about any issues which may be affecting you.
I aim trained to help with issues such as anxiety, low mood, bereavement, self confidence, self-harm, family and relationship issues amongst other things.
I am here to help you to find your own answers and to feel more in control of your life.
I am an integrative counsellor based in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire. I am trained in different counselling modalities and can use this approach to suit each individual client. I am a member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to put words to how you are feeling, so I can work creatively to help explore your inner world.
I am qualified to work with both adults and young people (aged 11 years old and over). As well as my private work, I work as a counsellor at a Sixth Form college and for a charity. I have previous experience working within a leading mental health organisation and in schools.
I have regular supervision and ongoing Professional Development as per the guidance of the BACP's Professional Framework. I am fully insured.
Please get in touch for a chat if you would like to find out more. I hold an enhanced DBC check.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
