Hello and welcome to my counselling practice - Hazeley Counselling.

Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of your next step? As a BACP-registered counsellor, I provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space for you to explore your thoughts and emotions.
The counselling room in my garden is a space for you; somewhere you can sit, talk openly and feel heard - without judgment.
My approach integrates humanistic, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), and solution-focused techniques to help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and find practical ways forward. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, eating habits, self-esteem, or the pressures of everyday life, we’ll work together to understand what’s getting in the way and build effective tools for change.
Every person’s story is unique, which is why your sessions will be tailored to your own individual needs and goals.
My role is to be alongside you—to help you rediscover your strengths, recognise patterns, and move towards a more balanced and fulfilling life.

I offer sessions face to face, online and "walk and talk" sessions on Hazeley Heath (Hartley Wintney).
I am qualified to work with both adults and young people (aged 11 years old and over).
Part of my counselling role is a school counsellor, so I understand how difficult it can feel for young people to navigate the challenges of school, friendships, relationships, exams, online life and how that can lead to feelings such as anxiety and low mood.
I offer a safe, supportive space for young people to explore their feelings, challenges, and experiences without fear of judgment. I have extensive experience supporting young people who are neuro-diverse and support this is with regular training and continual professional development.
Sessions focus on helping young people understand themselves better, build confidence and resilience, and develop practical tools to cope with difficult experiences. Through compassionate listening and tailored approaches, counselling empowers young people to make positive changes and navigate life’s challenges more effectively.
I have regular supervision and ongoing Professional Development as per the guidance of the BACP's Professional Framework. I am fully insured.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
