About me
I can help you to feel lighter, less stressed, less anxious. I can help you to feel more grounded and connected to yourself. I can help you process old or new wounds and trauma. I trust that you can feel better and more at ease.
About me:
Hello, my name is Vicky. I am a BACP registered Counsellor. I work in a person-centered way, holding the belief that therapeutic human connection can help a person heal and make room for growth. I am a fellow human, working alongside you in acceptance and trust, as together we look at whatever is going on for you, ultimately supporting you to gain a deeper understanding of your experience and a deeper connection to yourself.
What i can offer
I am qualified to offer counselling for a wide range of experiences, whether this is past or present trauma/experience, current difficulties, or something you can't quite pin down but is causing you distress. For example:
Relationships - struggles, abuse, loss, grief
Emotional difficulties - depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, stress
Past experiences - any past experiences that still have an impact on you now, childhood trauma
self-exploration - Understanding who you are, exploring psychedelic experiences, dreams, who you are and want to be
Decision-making - gaining clarity around some current turmoil, exploring any inner blocks, feeling stuck
Whatever is going on for you, I offer a safe and non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and experiences. We will work together to process all that you need and find ways for you to move forward. I work collaboratively and creatively with you, using the warmth of my compassionate and unconditional human connection to hold and ground you in our therapeutic relationship.
The Counselling Space:
I offer sessions from “The Hut,” a cosy counselling space set in an idyllic field in Lixwm (in between Denbigh and Mold). The Hut is in a gentle, natural setting that often makes it easier to open up and reflect.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I am in NE Wales, close to Mold, and I work online from my home or face-to-face at a local organisation called Outside Lives Ltd, who work to promote wellbeing across the community. We have the option to sit outside in beautiful surroundings.
If a rural space is difficult for you to access, then i can arrange a more central room in Mold, no problem.
I offer a free 20 min no-fee introduction phone call. This session can help to work out if counselling is for you, if my service is what you are looking for, or if we are the right fit. Please contact me via email VKCounselling@proton.me
