About me
You may be coming to therapy feeling confused, exhausted, or unsure who you are anymore. Experiencing a relationship marked by narcissistic abuse or coercive control, can leave you questioning your reality, your worth, and even your identity. You might find yourself replaying events, doubting your feelings, or wondering how something that once felt so certain became so painful.
Therapy can offer a place to begin piecing yourself back together — to feel seen, believed, and supported without judgment. It’s a space where you can explore what’s happened at your own pace and start rebuilding the parts of you that have been silenced or overshadowed.
Many of the people I work with describe feeling lost, hyper-vigilant, or disconnected from their sense of self. Together, we work gently to understand the patterns that kept you trapped and to reconnect with your confidence, boundaries, and voice.
I’m Vicki, a Psychotherapeutic Counsellor trained in Transactional Analysis (TA). This approach helps us understand the dynamics of power, control, and early conditioning that shape how we relate to others — and, most importantly, how we can change them.
Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about reclaiming your strength and rediscovering who you truly are. I offer in-person and online sessions, with a free 15-minute consultation to help you take the first step towards healing and freedom.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a degree in Humanistic Counselling which underpins my main counselling approach, Transactional Analysis (TA). This can help people reach their fullest potential in all areas of life. It is an excellent therapy for understanding and helping to develop constructive communication in relationships.
I also draw on other modalities to allow therapy holistic depending on each person.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
