Havening Techniques are a rapid, gentle and effective approach for helping people overcome anxiety based problems. Distressing feelings such as intermittent panic, stress from trauma, fears, depression, addictions and other related issues are amenable to Havening. In addition, Havening Touch helps develop states of emotional wellbeing and resiliency.The mind/body holds memories, and sometimes these memories create symptoms, maybe even flashbacks, that interrupt our daily lives. Through a simple protocol, by a gentle touch of arms, face and hands, we can produce Delta Waves, the result being that the encoded ideas and traumas can be altered, so the effects can be removed from our system, this removal changes both the underlying stressor, and the individual's response.
I can offer sessions specific to Havening, and explain how to Self Haven.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been interested in the workings of the human mind since the mid 90's when I began my own journey of self discovery, prompted to attend a Psychology workshop by good friends.
I work within a Humanistic framework as a fully qualified Integrative Counsellor, both privately and within the NHS IAPT environment. I am also a Havening Practitioner, enabling transformational techniques based on emerging discoveries in Neuro Science.
I facilitate self awareness training programmes, and have promoted psychology workshops in Kent since 2005.
I work Holistically, recognising connections between our mind and body, utilising the power that is greater than ourselves, and the natural energy of life.
I work either short term within a solution focused framework of 6-12 sessions, or long term. These can be discussed at our initial meeting, depending on your needs.

I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, am a Graduate of the Psychology of Vision International Training Program, and Havening Techniques Practitioner.
I am a Practitioner of a new biologically based process, Havening Techniques, through which the brain can heal encoded trauma and negative thought patterns.
I have trained and practised as a Certified Cruse Bereavement Volunteer, and have completed many of their trainings.
I am keen to learn, and attend regular workshops and seminars, so I can pass these new skills on to my clients. I have also attended global psychology workshops since 2003.
I am a Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists, and Accredited Member of The Counselling Society.
I am fully insured, with a present DBS and attend regular supervision.
My Practice is in central Faversham, within a quiet private courtyard, with public parking nearby, and a few minutes walk from the Rail Station.
