BACP Accred NCS Accred. Certified Havening Practitioner

About me

I offer a professional service to help you gain a healthy mind through Integrative Psychodynamic Counselling and gentle, highly effective Havening Techniques.

By blending Counselling and Havening I can rapidly and permanently remove anxious and negative thoughts and memories of Traumatic experiences, as well as those diagnosed as being affected by PTSD.

Your first session can lead to positive, rewarding and permanent change.

Negative thoughts cause anxiety, panic attacks, depression and stressful situations.

Through Counselling, it's possible to uncover where and why these emotions originated, and how they might be impacting on you now. This  knowledge can allow understanding and healing.

Anxiety comes from fear, and creates worry, sometimes our mind can get stuck on repetitive negative thoughts, which leads to feeling unable to bring about change without effective intervention.

Talking about what's on your mind, can help lead you to understand why you have worrying thoughts.

Anxiety , Trauma, Stress and phobias are rapidly and permanently removed through Havening Techniques

By integrating Counselling and Havening Techniques exciting new levels of Healing and self awareness encourage confidence, better self-esteem, and more fulfilling lives.

You will also be shown how to self regulate anxious and negative feelings through the Havening touch for yourself, in your own time.

This is called Self -Havening

Counselling

Using counselling and psycho-educational coaching skills, and with your intention to find healing,  will help you to understand why you think the way you do, enabling  new self awareness, encourage positive change, and open up avenues of exciting new personal potential.

By understanding hidden patterns of behaviour, you can make better choices, taking you forwards towards resolving your anxieties, making a difference to your life and those around you.

Counselling involves listening to what you would like to heal, to understand why you feel or think a certain way. Whether you have concerns regarding relationships, or past traumatic experiences that have impacted on you, or are feeling a lack of motivation, I can help.

We may talk about what your hopes are for your life, or how you are feeling about certain situations or the environment around you.

It is up to you to decide what you would like to talk about.

It's important to know that it is possible to bring about change, to bring resolution, to feel free from the past.

I offer a compassionate, empathic, down to earth and non-judgemental approach within a confidential and private location.

" You have given me hope, strength and inspiration to go forward in my life"

                                                                                                             J.P.

Permanently remove anxiety, trauma and phobias.

Havening Techniques, are a calming, powerful, restorative and scientifically proven way of bringing you permanent relief from anxiety, stress, trauma and phobias. These new techniques are based in the field of Neuroscience, and enable resolution and resilience towards positive lasting change..

I am a practising Certified Havening Techniques Practitioner

Through gentle touch to arms and face, Delta waves are generated,  allowing a gentle clearing of disturbing memories. As the original experience is not needed to be talked about we need only work with the feelings resulting from the negative experience.

Havening Techniques are a rapid, gentle and effective approach for helping people overcome anxiety based problems. Distressing feelings such as intermittent panic, stress from trauma, fears, depression, addictions and other related issues are amenable to Havening. In addition, Havening Techniques helps develop states of emotional wellbeing and resiliency. The mind/body holds memories, and sometimes these memories create symptoms, often flashbacks, that interrupt our daily lives. Through a simple protocol,  a gentle touch of arms, face and hands, we can produce Delta Waves deep within the mind, the result being that the encoded negative ideas and traumas can be removed from our system. This removal changes both the underlying stressor, and the individual's response.

To quote Dr Ruden who with his twin brother, Dr Steven Ruden,  researched and  made Havening Techniques available to health practitioners around the world

“It's now possible to rapidly alleviate suffering, where in many cases, it was seen to be untouchable”.

We finish a Havening session with positive affirmations, retraining our brain to think anew.

Many clients after a session remark on how light they feel, unburdened, positive, able to go out, or speak in public, to love and to recognise themselves in a new light.

Please call or email me, and I will get in touch.

As well as blended sessions of Counselling and Havening Techniques,

I offer sessions specific to Havening, and can teach you how to Self Haven.

Sessions can be taken face to face, over the phone or online.

" Victoria has been wonderful. I've tried counselling before and couldn't connect. This time I couldn't recommend it more. Havening has been so good, I will continue to use it in the future".  M.B.
