About me

Welcome, and thank you for visiting!
Here’s a bit about me and how I can help you on your journey.

As a fully qualified integrative counsellor and supervisor, I offer both face-to-face and online therapy for adults 18 and over.

Talking about your emotions can be an empowering and transformative experience. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, work-related stress, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, we can explore it together in a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space.

Sometimes, we find ourselves overwhelmed by feelings like anxiety or fear, or we notice repeating patterns in our relationships, but we don’t fully understand why. Together, we can work through these emotions, discover the root causes, and begin to heal. The process is always at your pace, with the trust and connection we build at the core of our work.

I believe in a personalized approach, understanding that everyone’s journey is unique. The support I provide is tailored to your life, your circumstances, and your individual needs.

To help you decide if we’re the right fit, I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation. During this time, we can get to know each other and discuss the possibility of working together. I'm also registered with Aviva, Aetna Global, CIGNA, and Vitality Health Insurance, making it easy to set up sessions if you're covered by these providers.

Feel free to reach out by phone or email to arrange our initial chat. I look forward to connecting with you soon!

Training, qualifications & experience

I hold an Advanced Level 6 Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling and Supervision and bring both personal and professional experience to my practice. Having gone through many years of my own therapy, I understand the profound impact that compassionate support can have.

I’ve had the joy of working with clients aged 18 and up, addressing a diverse range of issues with care and empathy. My previous background includes working with young children (ages 2-9) and their families in educational settings, as well as running my own business for many years. These experiences have enriched my understanding of life’s complexities and the unique challenges we all face.

I’m dedicated to creating a warm, safe environment where we can work together to navigate your journey at a pace that feels right for you. Let’s explore your path forward with support and understanding.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

Accredited register membership

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy
Accredited Register Scheme

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information

I take an integrative approach to therapy, which means I blend various therapeutic techniques to best meet your unique needs. Rather than sticking to a single method, I tailor each session to focus on your personal goals and the changes you wish to achieve on your journey.

You can choose to work with me online or in person from my welcoming therapy room in Margate. Additionally, if the weather is nice, we can enjoy the refreshing experience of walk-and-talk therapy, combining the benefits of nature with our sessions.

My goal is to provide a flexible and supportive space where you can feel comfortable and empowered as you work towards your goals.
