About me
Together we can look at what brings you into therapy and what’s not working for you anymore. You might find yourself stuck in the same patterns in relationships, saying yes when you want to say no, overthinking every interaction, or feeling low and anxious without really knowing why. It can be hard to untangle all of that on your own.
In our sessions, you can expect a calm, steady space where you don’t have to edit yourself. We slow things down so you can notice what’s really going on underneath the surface – in your thoughts, your emotions, and sometimes in your body too. My interest is in uncovering what’s been sitting just outside of awareness, so that it starts to make sense instead of feeling random or overwhelming.
Together we’ll gently trace the threads between past and present – the patterns you keep getting pulled into, the roles you find yourself playing, the beliefs about yourself that may have started a long time ago. As we notice these patterns with curiosity , new choices often begin to appear – in how you respond, what you allow, and how you care for yourself. As these become clearer, you often start to feel less “stuck” and more able to choose how you respond, rather than feeling driven by old scripts.
Therapy with me can sometimes feel tender or uncomfortable – we’re touching real places – but my intention is that it also feels relieving, validating, and hopeful. We might look at relationship patterns, experiment with new ways of responding, or find simple tools you can use between sessions to support your wellbeing.
I’ve worked in mental health for over 10 years with children, young people and adults, and I hold an MSc in Integrative Counselling. That means I’m used to sitting with a wide mix of stories and struggles, and I draw from different approaches in a way that feels practical and human.
If you’re curious about what it might be like to sit in the room together, you’re welcome to contact me for a short, no‑pressure chat so you can get a feel for me and ask anything you need to.
I am Portuguese and can offer therapy in Portuguese for clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their first language.
I work in person or online with availability in evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
