About me
My name is Treasa, I'm an Exeter based counsellor, offering online and in-person sessions for those aged 16+.
I work with people experiencing anxiety in all its forms: social anxiety, grief-related anxiety, stress at work, or the kind that settles quietly into the background of daily life.
I also work with clients exploring their identity, including experiences around sexuality or gender, general life direction and the feeling of being “out of step”, with societal expectations. This might include choices such as being child-free, navigating non-traditional relationships, or redefining who you are outside of roles others expect of you.
Many clients also come to explore relationship patterns. Past bullying, criticism or low self-worth can deeply affect how safe it feels to connect with others. I also work with attachment issues, emotional abuse and challenges around self-esteem.
My approach is collaborative; working with each client’s preferences and what feels most useful for them. As an integrative counsellor, I draw on a broad range of approaches, with a particular interest in the person-centered and existential models, which places the client-counsellor relationship at the heart of the work. Working intersectionally, I focus on how different identities shape your experience.
In additional to my role as a counsellor, I also work in an educational setting and am keenly aware of the financial pressures and additional stressors that students face. For this reason, I offer a reduced rate of £40 for students. I aim to work flexibly to meet peoples schedules where possible, so do send an enquiry for more info on rates and availability.

Additional information
I am passionate about community and connection and my goal as a counsellor is to help people feel more anchored in a complex world that often fosters disconnection and isolation. In line with this ethos, I offer discounted rates to a range of clients, to help make counselling more accessible to those who may otherwise struggle to access support.
If you'd like to discuss the possibility of us working together, I would be happy to arrange a 15 minute telephone consultation. Low cost counselling available.
