About me

I offer one-to-one and couple's counselling in a safe, relaxed, non-judgemental environment. I am an accredited and registered member of the BACP and I adhere to their Code of Ethics.

I have been qualified since 2000 in Existential/Person-Centred Therapy and I have worked in a variety of settings; in colleges, (as a trainer and counsellor) as a volunteer in a charity working with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, as an addictions counsellor, as an Employee Assistance Programme's Counsellor, but mostly for the NHS in a large doctor's surgery, where I have worked for the last ten years.

I have expertise in working with people who are coming to terms with; physical illness or disability and impairment, bereavement, eating disorder, relationship breakdown, family issues, bullying, sexual abuse, gender and sexuality issues, depression, anxiety and addictions of all kinds.
