About me
Hi, my name is Tracy and I am a fully qualified Humanistic counsellor offering a safe confidential space where you can explore things that you cannot take anywhere else.
If you have come this far then you may well be experiencing a sense of feeling lost, not knowing which way to turn, anxious, depressed, low mood, workplace or relationship stress or a sense of feeling stuck and just need support gaining clarity. I endeavour to offer a place where you are at the heart of our work, I am led by you and your needs in the here and now and believe that given the right environment you hold the answers to your future and your freedom.
I work on the ethos that all expectations can be placed at the door and all parts of you are welcome. I believe that we as humans have a natural desire to want to self-actualize and reach our full potential in life, but experiences can hinder our journey. These experiences can be external or internal forces such as things that have happened to you along the way or things that are happening within you.
Counselling is like alchemy, it is well reputed for being the conduit for healing. Combined with my love of nature I endeavour to take our work outdoors if that is what you so wish and this environment offers the container for our work. The power of talking and sharing your deepest darkest secrets knowing that you are still held and accepted just as you are.
During your sessions I will give you the space to reflect on your own patterns of behaviour, areas you are stuck, deep rooted issues or trauma that is still held within your body. I may bring my Eastern knowledge from my experience as a yoga teacher into our sessions offering other somatic ways and tools of managing difficult feelings such as breath, mindfulness and movement therapy if I feel this is appropriate to you and or helpful.
