About me
Hello and welcome
If you're feeling lost, alone and overwhelmed with no place to go, I'm that safe space.
In a world full of uncertainty, I support you to understand why you feel the way you do and learn to be less afraid of those big, uncomfortable feelings, exploring with you tools and techniques to learn to manage them. With your permission, I gently challenge, encourage exploration and reflection. I listen without judgment allowing you to be seen and heard, maybe for the first time in your life, always working with you and at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
I’m warm, empathic and non judgmental. I care deeply about building a safe and trusting relationship putting you at the heart of our work. I don't believe in 'one size' fits all, I use trauma informed and neurodivergent affirming approach. I have experience of working with but not limited to, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, bereavement, ADHD, unpaid carers, relationship conflicts.
Let's face it, starting therapy can in itself feel vulnerable, talking to a person you've never met before and thats why I offer a free 20 min initial video chat or telephone call where you can meet me giving you the opportunity to discuss your current situation and ask any questions, alleviating some of that worry.
I offer both short, long term and intensive face to face and online counselling for Adults, Children and Young people, along with walk and talk and creative therapies.
I believe that counselling is a gift to yourself and worth the investment.
I look forward to hearing from you.

I'm an integrative Counsellor which means I am able to use different approaches which are tailored to meet your needs. I have experience working with adults and young people using a trauma informed and neurodivergent affirming approach.
I have worked as a counsellor in a school environment, within an agency and a charity and work in private practice.
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) and I regularly participate in professional development to enhance my skills and knowledge.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
