About me

I'm Tom, a fully BABCP accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) with over 12 years experience in clinical practice, both in NHS and private settings. Although I work with a range of conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, Low Self Esteem & PTSD, I have a specialist interest in working with individuals struggling with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). My personal battles with OCD and depression allow me to empathise deeply with my clients, enabling me to provide understanding, non-judgemental and supportive care.

I blend Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with my own personal experiences of OCD, depression, anxiety, and burnout. This unique approach allows me to develop personalised treatment plans that empower my clients to achieve their goals for therapy and to reclaim their lives.

From experience, I know that reaching out for help when we are struggling can be the hardest thing to do. My aim is to create a warm, supportive, curious and confidential environment to help you to quickly feel comfortable with me and to begin to take the first steps towards recovery. Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 12 years of experience of working as a Therapist in both the NHS and in the private sector. Furthermore, I regularly attend further training workshops to supplement my existing knowledge and experience.

As an experienced CBT Therapist, with experience offering clinical supervision in both University and NHS environments, I have availability to take both students and qualified therapists for clinical supervision.
