About me
Life not working out like it should? Stress building up, relationships feeling strained, or past experiences catching up with you?
Together, we can explore what’s happening, helping you gain clarity, process challenges, and reconnect with yourself at your own pace. My approach is integrative, drawing from different counselling theories and techniques to suit your needs, so our work is tailored to you rather than us following a one-size-fits-all model.
I specialise in supporting people with:
- Stress, pressure, and burnout
- Relationship and family challenges
- Past experiences that are holding you back
- Life transitions or feeling “stuck”
- Anxiety
- Depression
I understand that counselling can feel unfamiliar or unnecessary at first. That’s why I focus on creating a space where you are respected, understood, and supported—without judgment or unnecessary fluff.
What to Expect
- Sessions that are straightforward and supportive, focused on exploring what matters to you
- A non-judgmental space where you can reflect, share, and make sense of your experiences
- Collaborative conversations aimed at increasing clarity, understanding, and a sense of steadier ground
- Exploration of patterns in your life and relationships to better understand what shapes your experiences and what might help you feel more like yourself again
Intro calls are free and 20 minutes long. No pressure, no judgment—just a clear conversation to see if working together feels right for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a BACP-registered counsellor (416497). I hold Level 2 and Level 3 Certificates in Counselling Skills and a Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling, which gives me a solid foundation in multiple counselling approaches. I continue to expand my skills through ongoing CPD, ensuring my methods are evidence-based and current.
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on multiple counselling theories and techniques and combine them in a way that fits your unique situation. Every person is different, there’s no one-size-fits-all method so whether we focus on managing stress, tackling emotions, navigating relationships or working through past experiences, the theories and techniques I use or the tools and strategies we cultivate together are tailored to your life.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
