About me
Hello those of you who are committed to deep work and abiding change. I'm Tina, a psychotherapist of 27 years who has worked with many issues/problems whilst holding space for the facilitation of deep inner work.
I work in an integrative way and believe that the most important aspect of our work is our relationship. The courage to be real with each other and hold an authentic mirror to shed light on the underlying complexities that enable stuckness, pain, toxicity, suffering, self-denial, grief, low self-esteem, insecurity, all that is present and is deemed as the problem.
People are complex and whilst short term quick fixes may alleviate issues and problems for a little while - steady, deep, reflective insight and integration of those insights requires a true loving space held with integrity and real communication from the heart.
I have witnessed the power of such spaces and been fortunate to have been held in these spaces myself on my own healing journey and I aim to hold you in your pain and complexity with deep empathy and regard.
I combine this with loving directness - because if we truly desire change, tender honesty is necessary as well as teaching and information.
I welcome you to explore with me and overcome any anxiety that you may have about reaching out. I offer time to connect with me in the first instance because its important that I "feel" right for you; that doesn't mean I'm unable to challenge when it's required, in fact it is in opposition to that. The therapeutic relationship when cultivated from this place allows more honesty and challenge from a place of kindness.
If what I have expressed resonates with you then do please contact me in the first instance and let's explore whether we may be able to undertake therapeutic work.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
