About me
Welcome
I'm a registered therapist working with men, women, and adolescents.
My approach
I work in a human, relational, and trauma-informed way, supporting people with a wide range of challenges. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of your experiences, and begin untangling the difficulties that may be present in your life.
How I work
My approach is honest, grounded, and collaborative. While many of us live in a culture that seeks quick fixes, I believe meaningful and lasting change takes time. Therapy can be challenging at times, but you won't face it alone. I will walk alongside you with presence, curiosity, and care as we explore what matters most to you.
What to expect from our first session
Beginning therapy can feel like a big step, especially when talking about experiences that are deeply personal. Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
We'll explore what has brought you to therapy, how life is for you at the moment, and what you hope for moving forward. There will also be space for you to ask questions about me and how I work.
There is no right way to begin therapy, and I carry no expectations of you in our first meeting. I simply invite you to come as you are.
Who I work with
I work with men, women, and adolescents across a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges.
Women
I work with women who may feel disconnected from themselves, their relationships, or the life they are living. Often, they have become highly skilled at caring for others while neglecting their own needs. I also support women processing the impact of trauma, abuse, and difficult life experiences, some of whom find working with a trustworthy male therapist to be a valuable part of their healing journey.
Men
As the co-founder of a men's community, I have extensive experience supporting men who feel stuck, disconnected, or uncertain about their direction in life. This may show up as relationship difficulties, low self-worth, anxiety, depression, OCD, suicidal thoughts, or a broader sense that something is missing. Many of the men I work with are also navigating questions around identity, purpose, and what it means to be a man in today's world.
Adolescents and Teenagers
I support adolescents and teenagers who may be struggling with anxiety, low confidence, identity, relationships, education, family difficulties, or the transition into adulthood. Growing up can be confusing and isolating at times, and therapy can offer a consistent space to explore challenges, build resilience, and develop a stronger sense of self.
A little about me?
My path into psychotherapy began long before my professional training. As a young adult, I struggled with severe anxiety, panic attacks, and trauma-related difficulties that left me feeling overwhelmed and disconnected from life. While self-study helped me make sense of my experiences, it was therapy itself that became the catalyst for lasting change.
That personal journey gave me a deep appreciation for the courage it takes to seek support and the transformative potential of a strong therapeutic relationship. It continues to inform the empathy, curiosity, and presence I bring to my work with clients today.
Alongside my clinical practice, I co-facilitate community spaces that support connection, self-awareness, and emotional growth. Outside of work, I enjoy playing guitar, photography, writing, travelling, and exploring the many questions surrounding what it means to be human.
Irrespective of modality or style of therapy, research suggests that it is the resonance of the relationship between the counsellor and client that ultimately determines the success of the therapy experience. I would love to have a conversation or meeting with you, either in person or over the phone, to feel if our working together may serve you.
Training, qualifications & experience
1st Class Honours in Person Centred Experiential Counselling & Psychotherapy (EHU)
Level 2 Certificate in Person Centred Counselling Skills (WMC)
Foundation Degree in Psychology (UoL)
I work with a diversity of clients of all ages and varying experiences. I work closely with young men from 16 years and above, as I have a fascination in the modern male experience; cultural and social masculinity; initiatory transitions to manhood and what it means to be a man in modern society, with all of the challenges it brings. I have interests and experience in tantra, men's work, sacred sexuality and polarity work that bolsters and informs my practice with both men and women. Although I work closely with men and the male experience, many of my clients have been, and are female. I welcome you!
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
