About me
I have many years experience as a therapist with both children and adults working in the private sector and many primary schools within Tunbridge Wells. I offer in person and online/phone sessions offering a variety of therapeutic services to children and adults alongside parenting support.
Maya Angelou once said, ‘there is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you’. My hope, as an adult psychotherapist, is to create a warm, secure space where you feel safe enough to invite me to hear and bear witness to your story. What I offer is to be alongside you, wherever your story may take us, and explore with you the complexity of thoughts, feelings, perceptions, experiences and behaviours that are uniquely yours and which may be causing you difficulty, distress or despair.
My mission in my work with children is to offer a ‘safe nest for children to grow their wings’ for any child who is having difficulties mentally, emotionally, socially or behaviourally that are holding them back from reaching their potential. I have a safe, bright, child-friendly room that is equipped to help your child feel safe, explore their feelings and difficulties and heal themselves.
I also offer parenting support as through my work with children I have often seen, and experienced how unsupported, blamed, discounted and alienated parents can feel, especially when your child's behaviour at home can be so very different from how they are at school.
I work relationally, and have a warm, friendly, caring, sensitive and often humorous approach. Please do reach out to me if you would like to know more.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
