About me
I am an experienced Integrative Psychotherapist and practiced counselling and psychotherapy for over 20 years. I work therapeutically with adults, children and adolescents. I also provide therapeutic support and guidance to families and parents.
I am a warm, empathic psychotherapist and provide a safe, non-judgmental and confidential setting.
I am an Integrative psychotherapist which means I use different frameworks and methods such as psychodynamic, existential, attachment based therapy, humanistic models and body based therapy.
Apart from talking therapy, I use various creative ways in helping people to manage, express and make sense of their emotions, thoughts and behaviour such as Mindfulness, and breathing techniques. With my work with children, I also use other creative media such as play and sand tray therapy, drawing, storytelling. I have also regular parent sessions to offer support and review progress.
I have experience working with people with various issues affecting their well-being: Anxiety, Phobias, Identity and Gender issues, Trauma, Obsessive Compulsive Behaviour, Relationship difficulties, Loss and Bereavement, Depression, ADHD, Low self-esteem, illness/health issues, Self- Harm, existential crisis, feeling dissatisfied or lost meaning and purpose in life.
My intention is to help find ways in dealing with your emotions and thoughts and alleviate your suffering. My aim is to help you increase your awareness and to get to know your mind, behavioural patterns and self limiting beliefs so changes can be made to lead you to a more fulfilling and satisfying life.
It is my aim also to accompany you in your journey in finding who you are and connecting to your true self. To live a more authentic and meaningful life in relating to oneself and others.
I offer both short and long term therapy, in person and online. I see clients for either weekly or twice weekly sessions.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an experienced Counsellor and Integrative child and adolescent psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience.
I have an MA in Psychotherapy and Counselling and an MA in Integrative Child Psychotherapy UKCP registered (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy).
I am a registered member of IATE( The Institute for Arts in Therapy and Education).

UKCP standards cover the range of different psychotherapies. Registration is obtained by training or accrediting with one of its member organisations, or by holding a European Certificate in Psychotherapy. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
