About us

Every relationship begins with one essential connection - the one you have with yourself.

I founded "The Dating Psychologist" to help people understand themselves, become the best version of themselves and build the kind of relationships that feel emotionally safe, deeply aligned with their values and are genuinely fulfilling.

For over twenty years, I have dedicated my career to understanding what truly drives human connection, why we love, why we lose, and how we grow.

The Dating Psychologist is where psychology meets human connection - blending science, compassion and real-world insight to help you build a relationship that starts with you.

Whether is supporting someone to move on from heartbreak, navigate modern dating, or rebuild after relationship trauma, my goal is always the same - to help you reconnect with yourself and create relationships that feel secure, grounded and real.

Training, qualifications & experience

In my work as a Consultant Practitioner Counselling Psychologist and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist across the UK NHS, the Ministry of Defence, and private practice, I helped individuals find strength, clarity, and confidence in how they relate to themselves and others.

At "The Dating Psychologist", I bring together the science of psychology and the art of human relationships. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-informed methods such as EMDR, ensuring that every session is both evidence-based and deeply personal.

My Qualifications:

  • MSc & Post-MSc in Counselling Psychology, City University London
  • Post-Graduate Diploma in CBT, Institute of Psychiatry
  • HCPC Registered Practitioner Psychologist
  • Chartered Counselling Psychologist, British Psychological Society (BPS)
  • British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies Member (BABCP)
