About me
I am currently taking on new clients online in January 2025
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor practising in London. I work with adults to raise their self-awareness and provide a space for change. As an Integrative Counsellor I have trained in a number of approaches including Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, CBT and Existential therapy, with a special interest in Transactional Analysis (TA). I apply these therapeutic approaches to fit your individual needs and personal experience. Therapy offers you the chance to safely voice your thoughts, suffering or burdens in a confidential, non-judgmental and growth promoting environment.
I am a professionally qualified and registered member of the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) which is the largest professional body representing counselling and psychotherapy in the UK.
The best way to contact me is by emailing a short introduction of yourself and your availability for a consultation or first session, along with any questions you have.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have over 9 years of experience working as a Counsellor and within the field of Mental Health. My experience includes working as a counsellor privately, within an NHS IAPT service, and within the higher educational mental health sector.
In my private practice, I see clients who seek counselling or therapy for various reasons, ranging from adjusting to mental health diagnoses or symptoms, being affected by depression, anxiety, stress, relational or have work-related issues. Many clients I work with seek therapy for social difficulties, relational difficulties and marriage or intimacy problems. I work regularly with clients on issues related to their self-esteem, value, worth and validation as I believe this is at the core of many 'secondary' issues which clients often face in life or find themselves seeking therapy for. A more comprehensive list of the areas I work with in counselling can be found above and below.
Before working in private practice I worked for Wandsworth & Westminster Mind offering therapy to clients within the local diverse community. I have also worked in private practice for a psychotherapy recovery clinic based near Harley St and a University Counselling service. Since then, I have combined my passion for mental health and inclusive educational rights, ensuring support for young Minds by working as a Mental Health & Wellbeing Officer for a College in London, managing one of their sites. I now specialise in supporting and providing counselling to students with mental health symptoms or diagnoses within higher education.

Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
