About me

You may be here because life feels difficult, overwhelming, or uncertain right now. Sometimes it can be hard to find the words for what is happening, yet you know something doesn't feel quite right. Whether you are facing a specific challenge or feeling the weight of experiences and emotions that are difficult to carry alone, therapy offers a compassionate space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself.

With over a decade of experience, I support clients experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, abuse, bereavement, relationship and family difficulties, and the emotional impact of life-changing diagnoses and significant life events. You may not always know how to put into words what you are feeling, but you may experience it through anxiety, overwhelm, low mood, disconnection, depression or a sense that something no longer feels manageable.

Drawing on trauma-informed, attachment-based, and humanistic approaches, alongside Polyvagal Theory and Internal Family Systems (IFS), I work collaboratively with you to explore emotional patterns, relationship dynamics, and stress responses, while recognising how past experiences may be influencing present difficulties.

I offer a confidential, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can feel heard, understood, and able to work at a pace that feels manageable and supportive of meaningful change.

Please do get in touch to see if I am the right fit for you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
