About me
I am able to offer therapy face to face in my home or online for adults,young people and children. I have my private practise and I visit schools one to one sessions.
I'm also experienced working with groups.for all ages.
I co facilitate a grief workshop every 2 months
I am also available to run self care groups for all ages. in communities and companies.
I offer the use of creative tools,art materials, objects stories or maybe you prefer to talk or both.
I work with the body.mind and spirit, Working creatively has proven through research to get to the heart of what's troubling you by offering more clarity and self awareness.
My background had been a senior social worker in a complex adults team for many years.
I am registered with The Health and Social Care Professional Council.
I am also a certified advanced practitioner (Psyche and Soma), including training to work online.
I am registered as a member of the professional creative counselling organisation and training hub.

I have clinical 1:1 supervision and group supervision and my own therapy. I continue to update my practise regularly.

I am registered with the Health and Care Professional Council as a therapist.
I am qualified to practise in the field of creative talking therapy with all ages, races, cultures, religions, genders, diversity, disabilities and backgrounds.
I adhere to the Health and social care standards of competency practises I regularly update my professional status attending workshops. Have trained in working creatively online. I have regular clinical supervision and therapy.

My background has been in educational theatre for schools around the UK.
I qualified as a senior social worker working with families, carers and vulnerable adults and children, including special needs and dementia.
Worked in a hospital setting with multidisciplinary team in a memory clinic supporting clients and their families well being
After I training at the royal central school of speech and drama. I worked with many different groups in the community with both children young people and adults with mental health and physical health difficulties. .
I've worked for various charities involved in mental health.
I had worked extensively as a contracted therapist for bereaved children. young people and adults. I now have a private practise.
I also facilitate a community grief group once a month.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

Sessions fees are from £25 to £50 and is negotiable.
We will review after 6 weeks to discuss how the work is proceeding and to assess the value in continuing as appropriate.
I can offer concessions to NHS on low incomes, students or those on benefits, from £25.
