About me
I believe we all have a core need for love and belonging, and when that’s disrupted, it can deeply affect how we feel. You might be feeling overwhelmed, anxious, low, or stuck in the same relationship patterns.
These feelings can be confusing. Especially when their roots aren’t clear. Therapy offers a space to reflect, understand yourself more fully, and gently explore what’s underneath.
I’m a qualified psychodynamic counsellor and psychotherapist, working with adults both face-to-face in Guildford and online across the UK. My approach helps you uncover how your early relationships and life experiences may be shaping how you relate to yourself and others today. Together, we can look at recurring patterns and the deeper, often unconscious, processes that may be influencing your wellbeing. With greater understanding, comes the potential for change.
I work with people facing a wide range of challenges, including:
- Anxiety and low mood
- Grief and loss
- Family and relationship issues
- Stress and burnout
- Life transitions and feeling lost
- Trauma
At the heart of my work is a warm, non-judgemental space where you can feel truly heard - where your thoughts and feelings are taken seriously, and where we work at your pace.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London, and have experience working in both private practice and community services.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

If you’re considering therapy, I invite you to get in touch for a free 15-minute phone call. A chance for us to see if we might be a good fit and if this approach feels right for you. Should we decide to meet, we’ll start with an initial consultation session before deciding to begin regular weekly sessions.
I can currently offer face-to-face or online sessions all day on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons. I offer face-to-face sessions at The Practice on Guildford High Street.
However, if these hours don't fit your needs, please contact me to discuss availability.
