About me

My name is Sue and I am really passionate about helping you work towards positive change using creativity, nature, woodland and green space. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I believe that you have the resources that you need to be able to lead the life that you deserve and that you have many strengths that will assist you in overcoming things that challenge you. I am here to work alongside you. I am also an artist and am interested in working creatively with you in order to support positive change.

I am passionate about Nature and the Outdoors as a therapeutic space and using Art and Journaling as a way of processing thoughts and feelings. I also use grounding and Mindfulness techniques, story-telling and Guided Visualisation as a way of supporting positive change and growth. I focus on your strengths as a way of building your own tools for change.

If you would like to know more and have an exploratory chat to see if we can work together. We can book a session at a time to make sure that I am the right therapist for what you need - Just send me an email and we can take it from there.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
