About me
You have already taken what can be the hardest step, to admit there is a problem and to look for help. So what is going on for you?
Are you feeling overwhelmed, unable to cope? Maybe you've been feeling low or stressed for a while and your usual coping strategies are no longer working.
Do you feel lost or like you don't know who you are. Perhaps you don't ever feel good enough or always looking for others approval to validate yourself and question why this is?
Has a relationship ended, through a split or even bereavement and you don't know how to feel or even have feelings which make you feel guilty?
Are you a people pleaser and this somehow feels like your identity but you don't feel like you can please yourself without guilt. You perhaps struggle to put boundaries in place in order to take care of yourself and you feel overwhelmed.
Do you feel that you are living a life with values which don't really align with your true self. You often tell yourself you should or must do or not do things.
I have lived experience of many of these feelings which built up and triggered a huge moment of overwhelm which took me to seek counselling.
Some of what I've said might have resonated with you on some level. Maybe none of these issues are why you are looking for help, that's fine we can explore what is really going on for you if you decide to work with me.
During our sessions we can work together exploring where the root of your issue comes from and how to change old patterns.
I work at your pace and guided by you, there is no pressure. Counselling can be challenging but will also very often unlock the key to understanding yourself and why you are the way you are. We can work to make changes in the way you think and behave and then finally to love and accept yourself. I will be with you every step of the way, your supporter, giving you time and space to be open and honest.
