About us

Hi, I'm Steve, and I know what it's like to feel dissatisfied and lost in life. To overthink everything, question your place in the world, and feel exhausted trying to keep things together while appearing fine on the outside.

As part of my own healing journey, I retrained and qualified as a therapist working with several issues like anxiety, grief, depression, CPTSD, low self -esteem & workplace trauma. Through that process, I came to value living authentically and understanding the hidden patterns, beliefs and experiences that shape how we think, feel and relate to ourselves & others.

I try to bring this philosophy to sessions, where I value warmth, humour, curiosity, depth and genuine connection within a safe, non-judgemental space - either online or at my office in central Perth. My approach is flexible and collaborative, tailored to you rather than sticking to a rigid framework. Together, we can begin joining the dots between your history, your goals, and what genuinely feels helpful so you can move forward in a way that feels meaningful and sustainable.

Whatever you're struggling with, you'll be given space to slow down, reflect, and explore the signals from your mind and body that often go unheard in everyday life. I believe that when we're supported with empathy, honesty and kindness - rather than trying to avoid difficulties or simply soldier on - we can build hope, deepen our self-understanding and create calmer, fuller lives.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.
