About me
My mission is to offer a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. As a psychotherapeutic counsellor, I am trained in person centred, CBT and psychodynamic approaches as well as being a qualified hypnotherapist. Together, we will work on achieving your goals, using a range of approaches which are tailored to you, the individual. Through this process, it is my aim that you will gain a deeper self-awareness, develop healthier ways of coping with life's challenges and begin to make lasting changes within a relationship where you feel heard, respected and understood.
Training, qualifications & experience
Having spent twenty years working in education as a teacher I have extensive experience and understanding of the importance of mental health.
I am now a qualified hypnotherapist and hold level 4 and 5 diplomas in psychotherapeutic counselling skills.
I am also a busy Mum so I understand the pressures of working life balance and the trials and tribulations of bringing up young people in today's society.
I have a specific interest in women's mental health and menopause issues.
I have worked extensively with addiction and substance abuse and I am particularly interested in this area of therapy.
I am trained in using hypnotherapy with children and I am passionate about supporting young people's mental health.
