About me
Who I work with.
I work with children, young people and adults. I also offer parent/child work and parenting sessions/ consultations.
Difficulties I work with.
I offer psychological therapy for a range of difficulties including low mood, anxiety, emotion dysregulation and relationship difficulties. I am particularly interested in and have specialised in working with people who have had experiences of trauma in childhood as well as working with neurodiversity such as ADHD and ASD.
Alongside my private practice I work in the NHS in CAMHS as a senior psychologist with children young people and families. As well as working with young people themselves, a large part of my role is supporting parents/ couples in order to think about their own experiences of being parented and how this impacts their relationships with their children/partner.
How I work.
I would describe myself as an integrative psychologist and draw from a range of therapeutic models, however first and foremost I believe I am a person first and psychologist second. The relationship we build is key and so ensuring you feel comfortable in the therapy space is one of the most important things.
Practical information.
I work online currently however from April 2025 hoping to offer some face to face sessions. Home visits can also be considered under some circumstances.
Please note I am not an emergency service and not able to respond to urgent queries. Please contact your GP or attend A&E if you need immediate support.

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
