First of all, welcome to my page. I understand that seeking support can feel difficult.
Whether you're facing a specific challenge, feeling overwhelmed, or simply looking for a space where you can be heard without judgement, I offer a compassionate, confidential and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences at your own pace.
How I work
Perhaps you're feeling anxious, low or stressed. I'll work alongside you at a pace that feels right for you, helping you make sense of what you're experiencing, with the aim of supporting you to feel more confident, empowered and able to move forward with greater clarity.
My approach is integrative, drawing on different therapeutic models according to your individual needs. My work is grounded in person-centred counselling, with the therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process. I also draw on psychodynamic, Gestalt and psychosynthesis approaches where they may support your understanding and growth.
Sessions are 50 minutes and are available face to face, online via secure video call or by telephone. I work with adults aged 18 and over and welcome clients from all walks of life. I have experience supporting adults aged 18 to 65, at different stages of life.
Finding the right counsellor is important. I offer a free 20-minute introductory telephone call where we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and whether working together feels like the right fit. There's no pressure to commit.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP).

- I hold an up-to-date DBS check and am fully insured.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
