About me
First of all, welcome to my page. Reaching out for support can feel like a big step, especially if you're used to facing life's challenges alone, and I'm glad you've found your way here.
Whether you're navigating a specific challenge, feeling overwhelmed, or simply looking for a space where you can be heard without judgement, I hope you'll find this to be a welcoming place. My aim is to offer a compassionate, confidential, and supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace. You don't have to have everything figured out before you begin, sometimes, simply having someone alongside you can make all the difference.
How I work
I offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can be yourself and feel accepted for who you are. Together, we can explore whatever is on your mind, whether that's experiences from your past, difficulties in the present, or worries about the future. I'll work alongside you at a pace that feels right for you, helping you make sense of your experiences in a safe, supportive, and collaborative way, with the aim of helping you feel more confident, empowered, and able to move forward with greater clarity.
I work with adults aged 18 and over and welcome clients from all walks of life. I've had the privilege of working with adults ranging from ages 18 to 65, giving me experience of supporting people at different stages of adulthood. Whatever your age or background, my focus is on creating a warm, accepting space where you feel heard, understood, and supported.
Alongside my counselling training, I've worked in a corporate environment, giving me an understanding of the pressures that can come with balancing careers, relationships, expectations, and the demands of everyday life. Whether your difficulties relate to work or something entirely different, I welcome adults from all backgrounds and life experiences.
People come to counselling for many different reasons. I work with a broad range of emotional and psychological difficulties, offering a safe space to explore whatever is affecting your wellbeing, whether it's something you've been carrying for years or a more recent challenge.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different therapeutic models depending on your individual needs. My work is grounded in person-centred counselling, placing our therapeutic relationship at the heart of the process. I also integrate with psychodynamic, Gestalt and psychosynthesis approaches where they may support your understanding and growth.
Sessions are 50 minutes long and take place face to face, online via secure video call or via telephone. Together we'll create a space where you can feel heard, understood and accepted without judgement. There is no expectation to have all the answers, we'll work together to explore whatever feels important to you, and aim to find the answers.
Finding the right counsellor is important. I offer a free introductory 20-minute telephone call so we can discuss what has brought you to counselling and whether working together feels like the right fit for you, there is no pressure to commit.
