About me
Are you feeling anxious, depressed, or sad? Would you like to improve your self-esteem or explore family or relationship issues? Or maybe you are feeling confused, uncertain or are you at a crossroads about something in life? If so, then it can be useful and empowering to talk to someone impartial to support you.
As a professionally qualified humanistic counsellor trained in Transactional Analysis, I believe you can make positive changes in life. I aim to build a trusting therapeutic relationship to support you during difficult times, help you feel content, and gain self-awareness and personal growth. I will work alongside you to find the answers you seek by developing an understanding of your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and how you see yourself, communicate with others, and perceive the world. Gaining this understanding can lead to a happier, more enjoyable and fulfilled future.
I have experience in working with a variety of different issues including, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem and confidence, family relationships, loss and grief, domestic, emotional and physical abuse, relationships, self-harm, neurodiversity and gender and identity.
I am warm and open, and I work in an informal relaxed way. I will offer you empathy, honesty, autonomy and a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and how they impact you today. We will work together at a pace that is right for you to help you overcome your challenges.
I work with teenagers (14+), young people and adults, offering short-term or long-term face-to-face or online counselling.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapists (BACP), I work within their ethical framework, governed by their practice code. This includes regular supervision as part of my ethical approach in providing therapy.
Please call me or email me to arrange an appointment. I look forward to hearing from you!

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
