About me

I am a Chartered Counselling Psychologist with over 19 years’ experience, offering online therapy for individuals and couples across the UK.

I work with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, with an interest in anxiety, stress, burnout, or a sense of feeling stuck, as well as a particular interest in helping couples navigate relationship challenges.

Many of the people I support are used to managing a great deal on the surface, but internally feel under pressure, overwhelmed, or unsure about what comes next. Others come to therapy because of ongoing relationship difficulties, such as communication issues, repeated conflict, or emotional distance.

My approach is grounded in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), with influences from other psychological modalities. My approach is to have a collaborative and personalised way of working. We begin by developing a clear understanding of your situation, before working towards meaningful, lasting change.

In couples therapy, my role is not to judge or take sides, but to help both partners feel heard and understood. Together, we work to make sense of patterns within the relationship and find constructive ways forward.
I aim to provide a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences openly, gain clarity, and move forward with greater confidence.

BABCP
British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP)

The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.

HCPC
Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.

They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
