About me

I am a psychotherapeutic counsellor and therapist. I have a private practice in Chichester, five minutes drive from the city center. If you're experiencing anxiety, stress, mood swings, depression, or you're feeling lonely, desperate, angry or sad, I'll be happy to help you. I offer psychotherapeutic counselling face-to-face, online via Skype and telephone counselling. I respect the uniqueness of each person and therefore there will be no standard approach to our sessions.

My aim is to hear you out and to create an atmosphere where you can trust me enough to tell your story. I appreciate how hard it might be to start talking and that you might at times feel stuck. I understand that it's difficult to trust. I've been there myself, thinking that no one will understand me. I couldn't tell what it was exactly that stopped me from enjoying my life. Therapy has become the means of discovering my true self and seeing things differently.

You might wonder what the therapy is like and what you will need to do. I can assure you that you don't have to come prepared. Just bring yourself, your feelings and thoughts and together we'll work through them. In the safe and comfortable environment of the counselling room it becomes possible to hear and understand yourself better.

Some people benefit from seeing a counsellor once a week, others might need two or three sessions a week. In our first session we will discuss what is the most beneficial for you.

Other areas of counselling I deal with

Alopecia areata, alopecia totalis, alopecia universalis. My personal history of living with a family member who suffered Allopecia universalis from the age of 7 has helped me to become who I am today. Every member of our family has been affected by the psychological consequences of this condition, and it has, in many ways, determined our life paths. If you have been affected by Alopecia, and you need help with establishing your identity, finding ways to cope, or just wish to unburden yourself, I can offer you compassionate and empathetic support.
