About me
Hi, my name is Sirrena. I work under an empathetic, understanding, warm and non-judgemental approach. I offer safe, comfortable environmental online or telephone to support your therapy sessions that you move at your own pace, where self-discovery, self-awareness and self -acceptance can be explored. I offer person-centred counselling under an integrative approach using cognitive behavioural and psychodynamic theory tailored to suit you. With my experience in supporting individuals subjected to sexual violence and abuse, I know how hard, scary and overwhelming it can feel.
As your counsellor, I am there with you every step of the way to support and empower. I am also trained in eye Movement Desensitization and processing therapy (EMDR) to support with techniques to heal from trauma. I am also trained in the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping). As a spiritual person, I have trained in spiritual counselling where I focus on healing as whole person, connection with your higher self and inner balance, exploring therapy techniques like meditation and mindfulness.
I am trained in colour therapy, where I work with different colours to balance energy, aid creativity, and enhance wellbeing. Through approaches like journaling and meditation, I also offer work to support inner child healing to explore your younger self and develop coping strategies. In my free time, I meditate, I am trained in couples counselling to support your relationship and problems you are experience with communication and support rebuilding the relationships.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
